Helen May Baldwin 83 of Roseville passed away peacefully Tuesday June 7, 2022, at the Roseville Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 29, 1938, in Brooklyn, Il the daughter of James “Pop” and Alta Waller.
Helen was a graduate of Roseville High School in 1956. After High School she attended Military School in Minnesota and went on to work at the Pentagon in Washington D.C. It was there she met her future husband, Ocie. After they were married in Eula, MS she and Ocie came to raise a family and work in Swan Creek, Il area. She worked at the LaMoine Christian Nursing Home in Roseville for 25 years as a nurse’s aide and in the laundry. Helen was a devout Christian and loved the church. She is survived by her children Vickie Wright of Moline, Robin Baldwin of Swan Creek, and Riley (Tabitha) Baldwin of Roseville. Her three sisters June (Ben) Mecum of Swan Creek, Evelyn Haney of Taylorville, Il, and Mae Mohr of Arbela MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, 5 brothers Elmo, Paul, Glen, Merle, and Bill. Her five sisters Virginia, Barb, Annabelle, Beulah, and Jeanie.
